More encouraging news for those of you pursuing an international pilot career; Turkish airlines is hiring foreign pilots to fill their ranks. Anybody ready to move to Turkey?http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/turkish-airlines-hires-foreign-pilots-for-safety-ceo.aspx?pageID=238&nID=61037&NewsCatID=345
One of our airplane renters just brought a good destination to our attention, David Wayne Hooks airport, near Houston. It has a restaurant at the FBO (I think they’re open for breakfast and lunch), courtesy cars, and even a water runway for any of you with a seaplane. When you’re looking for a place to go for a long cross country trip, this could be a great destination.
